The Grove Pool
Our lovely warm pool is located at Voyage Care’s “The Grove Resource Centre” in Hindhead, Surrey. The recently refurbished Hydro Therapy pool provides a nurturing setting for swimmers of all ages to learn, build confidence and enjoy the water.
The pool measures 10 metres by 5 metres, with a constant depth of 1.2 metres, and is heated to a comfortable 33.5°C. Large windows overlooking greenery create a bright, relaxed environment for our small-group and private swimming lessons.
Facilities include:
Poolside benches for spectating
Private changing areas, toilets and showers.
Wheelchair access and hoist facilities to support swimmers with additional access needs.
A café seating area with a vending machine for refreshments before or after lessons.
Free parking on site. Please look out for Fun Flippers feather flags and clear signage to guide you to the pool building.
To help keep the pool area clean, shoes must be removed before entering poolside. Swim caps are required and can be provided by Fun Flippers—please ensure these are fitted before your child’s lesson begins.
If your swimmer requires hoist access or additional support, please contact us before attending so we can discuss their needs and help you prepare for your visit.

Waverley Pool
This wonderful pool is located at Waverley Abbey School, Tilford, Surrey.
The pool is kept between a toasty 30C – 32C which we have found to be a very comfortable temperature to aid learning & progress for all ages.
With a new roof & large accessible changing areas, the facility creates a perfect environment for children to learn in.
We again ask, that outdoor shoes be removed on arrival and their is plenty of poolside seating available for families to spectate.
There is plenty of parking on site alongside poolside so there is very little walking required.
Our pool is 18 meters in length, 8 metres in width & has a graduating depth of 0.8m to 1.4 metres, suitable for swimmers of all ages. Whilst goggles are optional, we do ask that swim hats please be worn & parents fit these prior to the lessons.
The entrance & exits offer easy access for pushchairs & wheelchairs. Parents of younger children are encouraged to remain on poolside for the duration of the lesson – or within the changing areas if less distracting for the child! At present there are no refreshments available so please bring drinking water in order to keep your families hydrated.
Due to Waverley Abbey being a school, we ask that during lessons parents & siblings remain on poolside or return to vehicles & are asked not to wander around the site to not impose on the students.
